During our trip to Ireland and Italia in 2009, I took a ridiculous amount of photographs.  In my posts, you will find the ones that best tell the story as we traveled from Dublin to Milano over the course of a month.

However, some of the ones that ended up on the cutting room floor are just too precious not to post somewhere, so I offer them to you here as sweet afterthoughts.  I hope they bring you sighs and smiles, as they do to me.

representing the Nile, Danube, Ganges, and Rio de la Plata.
La Fontana di Trevi — the Trevi Fountain. If I lived in Roma,
I could come here on my lunch break and have a gelato
